Est. 2010 · Handcrafted
From ancient forest to living room.
Every piece tells a story.
"Every grain, every knot, every imperfection
is a signature of the living world.
We don't make furniture. We reveal it."
Monkey Wood Art · Handcrafted Since 2010
We work only with sustainably sourced timber — reclaimed wood, fallen trees, and certified forests. Each piece is selected by hand for its grain, density, and character. No two pieces are ever the same. The forest gives; we give back.
Our artisans have decades of experience shaping raw wood into living sculptures. Traditional hand tools meet precision machinery. Every joint is hand-cut, every surface planed, every curve carved with obsessive attention to structural integrity and aesthetic truth.
Natural oils and hand-applied beeswax penetrate deep into wood fibers, protecting and revealing the grain's true depth. The finish breathes with the wood, aging gracefully over decades. No synthetic varnish. No compromise. Just wood, oil, and time.
Our Material
We don't chase a dozen exotic timbers. We build in one — ground-contact pressure-treated Southern Yellow Pine, framed in metal. Dense, fast-growing, and renewable — treated to live outside through rain, sun, and frost, and backed by a lifetime limited warranty against rot and termites.
